Brendan Mitchell is an experienced senior human resources (HR) leader with expertise in employee relations, organisational transformation, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Brendan takes a hands-on approach to drive results and enjoys developing and delivering the strategies that best fit the organisational objectives. He also values transferring skills within an organisation to allow it to continue to manage on its own.
Brendan has extensive local and global experience in all aspects of strategic human resources management, with a particular focus on large scale change, as well as industrial relations.
He maintains robust relationships with senior executives, Boards, union leaders and staff, and has demonstrable expertise as an industrial relations strategist and negotiator.
When he’s away from work, Brendan enjoys travelling, woodwork, reading, gardening, cooking, and roaming around inner-city Melbourne.

- Acting as a change agent to create organisational strategies and then executing them in many different countries and cultures
- Successful M&A work as part of a small team in Australia, the UK, the US, and Asia
- Company directorships in Australia and Asia
- Developing a culture of merit-based gender balance in a manufacturing environment, including successfully appointing the first female general manager in an organisation.
